I love the story but the premise is wrong, sure, Roman is a big power, but established orders, such as this new sword society, would immediately reject something new, just like how religions reject other faiths or new cults, especially when only one style of something they wish to protect is what fills the lands. The funny thing is that they themselves used the word heresy, and whenever a force uses that word, it usually comes with harsh radical extremists, people who won’t listen, which is crazy to me, since we don’t see them just storming Dimitri or trying to shush him, even with his power, there wasn’t even a mob preparing to linch him, merely people who would roast him after he got something wrong.
