I think he needs to restart and forget about everything he once liked. I think Gon Ma said something like, “Sometimes you have to let go of the things you love to gain something better.” Or maybe I just imagined that, but I still think it would be good advice.
He should restart and try to walk down each disciple’s path. With everything he’s learned, I don’t think it would be a problem. He should dedicate one life to each of them, trying to make them either win or lose in order to understand their weaknesses. He’d probably only need one life per disciple.
After doing that, I think I would restart again, leave the cult, and seek knowledge and martial arts from the outside world. I’m not sure if I’d write a letter to Gon Ma explaining everything before leaving, but yeah—after that, I’d try the Gon Ma path again.
