Pretty good, just a pity it reads like a CCP propaganda pamphlet. I can see in this series all the flaws that are causing the chinese people to suffer. For example, the ‘myriad races’ is a stand in for treating everyone else as an enemy to be conquered, a reductionist viewpoint that causes a death by a thousand cuts to all parties. You can also see it in the way it presents people’s duty not as to be better and build up the world, but to serve ones betters and the country is presented as the peak of that pyramid – even the MC’s talents and rise to fame is present as being good because it’s in service to the powers that be. In my opinion, this is a shortsighted doctrine that sacrifices the future for the sake of the past and present.
