          The problem with his wife (by design again, which is an issue) She isn’t growing. She been the target of so many betrayals, jealous people, and stuff. And yet, her character has remain the same since start. I also (once again by writer.) blame MC, because he is keeping everything a secret from her, and not even giving her access to a bank account that he could place billions for her to use, instead of her trying to run around with her head cut off to secure money where ever she can. When has the MC ever said, hay here this card, it has X amount of money, or this is my right hand guy go to him if you have any issues, if you can’t reach me. Has he said or done anything like that for her? Nah he been trying to be the “man” and take care of everything and keeping her in the dark about a lot of things, this MC is the reason why MC wife is made poorly.

                No she doesn’t rely on her husband. She tries to handle things on her own, he in turn always saving her, or bailing her out, but he also has plans already set that she didn’t know before hand. As I stated in my previous post this is also “MC” fault. Like I said, he hasn’t created a bank account with X amount of funds in it that she can use when necessary. He’s keeping a lot of secrets from her. Yes she is slow on certain aspects, but at the same time, that is the author fault for making her not grow at all from all these events, and chapters.

          I tried…I really tried, but this story makes no sense to me. I know it’s harem, but everything is just happening randomly and without any consistent logic. Random female characters pop up one after another and I’ve totally lost track of who is who, other than the wife and the goddess who gave him the system. And now we have gods, werewolves (?), biotech and…God knows what else.

             Like i can’t blame the wife for anything when I know it is the writing not the wife XD cause her character from what I have been able to piece together is hyperloyal to the husband (MC), and trusts him… but for some reason they keep forcing her to take 2 steps back just to add drama, and repeat the same development.

             Her biggest fault though is her self-doubt… which has been resolved and then voided about 7 times now XD for the sake of drama of course.

       The issue is that she jumped to conclusions and assumed he was in a relationship with all the women… which is not true.

       It is just her, the 2nd girl that the wife approved of, and the system chick. The rest are just friends that he cares for, (and that I believe most have a crush on him), but he hasn’t actually done anything with them (you could even include the system in that since MC didn’t know it was her and not his wife).

       So his comment is fair since he isn’t with any of them…. yet I assume this is going the route of the harem.

       Also this isn’t out of character… how many times has the wife jumped to conclusions or made assumptions about MC that are wrong…. dude is right to be annoyed cause she would rather think the worst of him instead of just asking him…

       Like you can’t make the analogy of her seeing other men, since she already approved of him and the one chick (red eyes), which is the only one he has (knowingly) been in an additional relationship with, and even then he still prefers the wife (even though red eyes treats him better and doesn’t assume the worst of him every time something happens).

       The correct comparison would be MC assuming she is in a relationship with many other guys when she isn’t, since that is the situation here. Of those women he has only kissed one and that was to play a role to show up her “friends” that were bullying her (he was repaying her for saving his friends life, the brunette/black hair that took a bullet for him).

             And it is a recurring thing, it has happened how many times now? so is it really that much of a surprise that MC is starting to become more like that? like you treat someone a certain way long enough, you shouldn’t be surprised if they actually end up like that.

             She keeps treating him like he isn’t loyal and only wants her spoiler: if you remember this whole time he is more than perfectly happy with just her, but she keeps pushing him away, treating him like he is already seeing 50 other woman when he wasn’t, and assuming the worst, so why is it such a shock when he starts to be what she always treats him like… If you kick a dog and it bites you, should you be surprised?

             If you remember with Lan Lan, he actively tried to get her to leave him alone, saying multiple times he has a wife, he did his hardest to stay with her and only her, and how was he rewarded? with being treated like a womanizer… and O shock now he has more than one woman after she pushed him to Lan Lan and then later approved of it…. She literally started this habit of his for him, he just gave up fighting back against it.

             You forget that MC while he may be tough and have power… is still whipped as fuck, and would be become his wifes bitch if she wanted (spoiler: why else would he stab himself in the next issue). He lets her shape his personality and his desires. Which is probably why he is so confused cause he probably thinks building harem is what she wants him to go for with how much she has fucked with his head XD

                she didn’t simply allow… she instigated it… All he wanted was her but she pushed him away as if he was already seeing many woman when he wasn’t. And he would ignore the way she treated him and kept going after her, while Lan Lan was actually treating him well.

                Which is probably why the wife accepted her being with him because she saw how much better she treated him… yet still treats him the same way causing the issue to repeat.

                And of course MC would be enraged if his wife touched anyone else… she is all he truly cares about, if she asked him to ditched all the others he would, the story has established since the start he would do anything for her (besides share her of course… well with men at least, he may be into les stuff but they don’t go too indepth on that side of things).

                If she wanted him to be only with her all she had to do was to not approve of Lan Lan, who was constantly being rejected by MC until the wife approved of it, then after that is when the harem started happening.

                Like I said previously MC is whipped, the wife just doesn’t realise it because it seems she never bothered to actually get to know her husband… like seriously Lan Lan who barely knew him for any time at all knows MC better than his own wife…. cause she chooses to see him that way.

                Although I would say it is less about it being a harem story and more about it being something of a classic trope in these “useless” husband stories.

However I don’t see nothing wrong with this considering Japanese manga (which most people read) deal with harems, and Isekai where the hero is OP as fuck gets all the girls, and basically follows the same concept.

     Wow, this is so messy, I’m at a loss trying to understand what’s going on. I know they love their face slapping moments and trying to show off how “awesome” Xiao Ge is, but they need to give proper context and convincing crises, not have every Tom, Dick and Harry scheming against him and his wife for no bloody reason other than so he can slap them later. And then rinse and repeat all over again.

           Some are, yeah. Some read way better and aren’t as cringe-y. It’s a shame they are so few. I mean, Demon Magic Emperor uses a similar formula, but executes it so much better. The rest are just lazy, edgy copy-pastes that seems to imply that no deep thought or planning was put into it.
